Cancellation
Life happens — and I totally get it.
As a solo practitioner, your appointment time is reserved just for you. When sessions are canceled on short notice, it impacts my ability to support my family and takes away a spot someone else may really need for pain relief.
To keep things running smoothly and fairly for everyone, I follow a clear cancellation policy:
Standard Policy:
Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of your appointment cost
Within 2 hours of your appointment or a no-show: 100%
Arriving more than 10 minutes late without notice: Considered a no-show and charged at 100%
And because I respect your time too — if I ever have to cancel inside 24 hours, you’ll receive 50% off your next session.
If You’re Sick:
Please stay home — your health (and mine!) and the health of everyone I treat matters.
I do my best to be reasonable with sudden illness. The earlier you reach out, the more flexibility I can offer. Repeated last-minute cancellations due to illness may fall under the standard policy.
Other Exceptions:
Find someone to take your appointment? Your cancellation fee is waived.
If schools close in Santa Rosa or Okaloosa County due to weather, I’ll close as well — no fees apply.
This policy isn’t meant to punish anyone. It’s what allows me to keep my practice sustainable and continue helping people move out of pain and back into their lives.
Refusal of Service
For safety reasons, I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following:
intoxication
sexual or romantic contact or advances
(for massage:) refusal to stay covered with draping sheet or continuous moving of the sheet resulting in indecent exposure
illness or infectious conditions
contagious or unidentified skin conditions (ex. rashes, warts, mysterious bug bites)
indicators of untreated cauda equina syndrome
If you develop a skin condition or have any other concerning medical conditions, please clear it with your doctor before your session.
If you exhibit any of the aforementioned conditions or behaviors, you will be denied treatment and charged in full for the appointment.
