Cancellation
Life happens — and I get it.
Because I’m a solo practitioner, your appointment time is reserved just for you. Last-minute cancellations leave a gap that is difficult to fill and may prevent someone else from receiving care.
If you think you may need to cancel or reschedule, please reach out as early as possible so I have time to offer the spot to someone else.
Standard Policy:
Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the session cost
Within 2 hours of your appointment or a no-show: 100% of the session cost
Arriving more than 10 minutes late without notice: considered a no-show
If You’re Sick:
Please stay home if you’re feeling ill — your health, my health, and the health of other clients matters.
If illness comes up suddenly, reach out as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to work with you.
Because I work closely with clients in a hands-on setting, I follow the same standard. In the rare event that I must cancel due to illness or emergency, I will contact you as soon as possible and prioritize getting you rescheduled.
Ways to Avoid a Cancellation Fee:
You’re welcome to send someone to take your appointment
If schools close in Santa Rosa or Okaloosa County due to severe weather, the office will close and no fees will apply
This policy allows me to keep my schedule reliable and continue helping clients move out of pain and back to living their lives.
Refusal of Service
For safety reasons, I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following:
intoxication
sexual or romantic contact or advances
(for massage:) refusal to stay covered with draping sheet or continuous moving of the sheet resulting in indecent exposure
illness or infectious conditions
contagious or unidentified skin conditions (ex. rashes, warts, mysterious bug bites)
indicators of untreated cauda equina syndrome
If you develop a skin condition or have any other concerning medical conditions, please clear it with your doctor before your session.
If you exhibit any of the aforementioned conditions or behaviors, you will be denied treatment and charged in full for the appointment.
